Ballybofey and Stranorlar Integrated Community Company (BASICC)
BASICC was formed to address the community and economic needs of the Twin Towns area. The Board of Directors is comprised of local business people, community leaders and residents who give their time on a voluntary basis to ensure that positive things happen in our towns. We work collaboratively with business groups and community networks within the area, regionally and nationally.
Our vision is that Ballybofey and Stranorlar stands out as a thriving community that provides real and valuable opportunities for everyone.
To encourage, drive and foster innovation so that Ballybofey and Stranorlar is a great place to live, work, visit and do business. We do this by establishing strong networks and partnerships and by developing and supporting sustainable initiatives.
The Guiding Values of BASICC are:
Passionate: We are resilient, committed, fearless, brave and always for the people.
Pro-Active: We are driven changemakers, dedicated, hard-working and committed to innovation.
Collaborative: We seek to partner. We are open-minded, connected and inclusive.
Trust-Worthy: We are credible, trustworthy, caring and optimistic. We act with integrity.
We welcome anyone interested in learning more about the work of BASICC. We are always open to suggestions and feedback. We especially welcome anyone who is interested in joining the team! Please contact Leah Fairman at The BASE Enterprise Centre for more details.
